Green Place Health Shop (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/804444/07) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number.
Your delivery address, including what you type into the address search at checkout.
Your order details (what you bought, delivery option and the total paid).
If you ask to be told about a new product, your email address and the product you are interested in.

Why we collect it

To process, pack and deliver your order.
To contact you about your order, such as confirmations, delivery updates and any problems.
To keep records we are required by law to keep, such as accounting and tax records.
To tell you when a product you asked about is available (only if you asked us to).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with the services that help us fulfil your order:

PayFast, which processes your payment. Your card details go to PayFast on its own secure page. We never see or store them.
Delivery partners, such as The Courier Guy and Pudo, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address.
Google, whose address search sends what you type in that box to Google to suggest addresses.
Our hosting and email providers, who store our website and send our emails.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure connections (HTTPS) on our website and limiting who has access to order details. We keep order records only for as long as we need them or are required by law to.

Browser storage

Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser so it survives a page reload. We do not use it to track you across other websites.

Your rights

You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (unless we must keep it by law), and you may object to us using it. Email hello@greenplace.co.za and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
